The best free video review platform for small businesses (no credit card, no limits)
Small businesses need social proof but cannot justify enterprise review software. Here is what a genuinely free video review platform should include, and how Reeltic stacks up.

Search for "review software" and the first ten results will ask for your credit card before you have collected a single review. Prices start around the cost of a monthly phone bill and climb to four figures for the tiers that actually include video.
For a café, a mobile hairdresser or a two-person web agency, that is a non-starter. This post lays out what a free video review platform should give you, the traps hidden in "free" plans, and how to get everything you need at no cost.
What "free" usually means (and why it is not)
Most review tools offer a free tier that is really a demo:
- Capped invites. Fifty review requests a month, then pay.
- Capped storage. Ten videos, then pay.
- Watermarked or locked widgets. You can collect, but you cannot display without upgrading.
- No verification. The trust features are paid, so free reviews are worth less.
- Time limits. A 14-day trial that quietly turns into a subscription.
If your plan is to grow, a capped free tier is a delayed bill. Read the pricing page before you read the features page.
What a free platform should actually include
Here is the checklist we would use if we were choosing for our own business.
1. Unlimited reviews and unlimited requests
The point of reviews is volume over time. A cap on either side defeats the purpose. Reeltic has no cap on reviews, requests, businesses per account, or products per business.
2. Real verification
Every reviewer should confirm an email address or phone number with a one-time code before a review is accepted. Without that, "free" reviews are just free videos.
3. The ability to display reviews everywhere
At minimum you need:
- A public business profile that search engines can index.
- An embeddable widget for your own website (Shopify, WordPress, Webflow, Squarespace, or hand-written HTML).
- A share link for each review that unfurls nicely in WhatsApp, Instagram DMs and X.
Reeltic includes all three, plus achievement badges you can place on your site once you cross milestones like ten verified reviews or a 4.5-star average.
4. Moderation and replies
You should be able to approve reviews before they go live, reply publicly to any review, and flag abuse. You should not be charged extra for basic control over your own page.
5. Mobile-friendly recording
Your customers will record on their phones. The recording page needs to work in a mobile browser without an app download, handle a shaky first take, and let the customer choose the best 30 seconds of a longer clip.
6. Privacy options
A face-blur toggle is the difference between a "no" and a "yes" for a meaningful chunk of customers. It should be free and it should be permanent (burned into the video).
How Reeltic approaches it
Reeltic is free because we decided pricing was the wrong lever. The platform gets better as more verified reviews exist, and businesses share them more when there is no bill attached. So:
- No plans, no tiers, no card. There is nothing to upgrade to.
- Unlimited verified video reviews, each capped at 30 seconds.
- Widget, badges and public profile included.
- Optional coupon rewards. You can thank reviewers with a discount code that is delivered automatically once their review is published.
- A TikTok-style feed in the app, so your reviews get discovered by people who were not looking for you yet.
Setting up in ten minutes
- Create a business profile. Name, city, category. Add a logo if you have one.
- Add your products or services so customers can say which one they are reviewing.
- Copy your review link or download the QR code from the Share tab.
- Put the link somewhere customers are already happy: the thank-you email, the receipt, the table, the packaging.
- Approve reviews as they come in, or turn on auto-approve.
- Paste the widget snippet on your homepage.
That is the whole setup. There is no onboarding call because there is nothing to sell you.
Is free sustainable?
A fair question. Reeltic's cost per review is tiny (video processing and storage), and the platform grows through the reviews themselves. There are no hidden upsells planned; if that ever changes, existing reviews and widgets stay free.
